1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using assemble (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use assemble By signing up, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to terminate accounts found to be in violation of this rule.

3. User Conduct

You agree not to use the App to:

• Harass, threaten, or harm other users
• Create fake or misleading profiles
• Post activities with the intent to defraud or exploit others
• Share content that is illegal, offensive, or discriminatory
• Use the App for commercial solicitation without permission

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently ban any account that violates these rules, at our sole discretion.

4. In-Person Meetings

assemble is a platform for connecting people to share activities. We are not responsible for the conduct of users before, during, or after in-person meetings arranged through the App. You participate in any activity at your own risk. We strongly encourage users to exercise personal judgment and take appropriate safety precautions when meeting others.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you post (photos, activity descriptions, messages). By posting content, you grant assemble a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content within the App. You are solely responsible for the content you share.

6. Location Data

The App collects approximate and exact location information to facilitate activity listings. Exact addresses are only shared with participants you have explicitly approved. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Limitation of Liability

assemble is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including any harm resulting from meetings arranged through the platform.

8. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
